Misbah Uddin is a director in Navigant's project advisory team based in London. He is a government advisory, transport sector, and infrastructure PPP specialist with more than 13 years of analytical experience of the transport sector and UK and international infrastructure finance. Spanning the EMEA region, Misbah's roles and areas of expertise include business case development and review, benchmarking, cost modelling, commercial structuring, project due diligence services to the private and public sectors, and infrastructure procurement options advice to procuring authorities.
As an appraisal specialist, many of Misbah's roles have involved business case evaluation, market analysis, procurement options, financing, cost benchmarking and operations modeling. His experience includes leading multidisciplinary teams, including legal and technical subteams for feasibility studies and PPP procurement. Notable past clients include the Department for Transport (UK), Transport for London, Highways England, Dubai Roads & Transport Authority, Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, Abu Dhabi Ports Company, Etihad Rail, Oman Rail, Saudi Civil Aviation Authority, Russian Railways, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, Isle of Wight Council, Bristol City Council, National Express, BAA, Bombardier Transportation, and various other private transport sector investors and operators. Other sectors of infrastructure project advisory experience include education, healthcare, utilities, and real estate.
Before joining Navigant, Misbah worked for PwC as an assistant director in both its UK and Middle East corporate finance and infrastructure practices focusing primarily on transport projects. Prior to that, he worked for Booz Allen Hamilton in London advising clients on a wide range of UK and international transport projects.
