Craig Sabine is a director in Navigant's global Energy practice. Primarily serving clients across the great country of Canada, he provides strategic advisory and risk management support to utilities, electricity generators, regulators, and oil and gas companies.
As a seasoned expert in the analysis of Canadian energy markets and energy policy, Craig often collaborates with Canada's most dynamic energy sector organizations in a number of key business areas. These include policy and strategy development, portfolio assessment, regulatory economics and regulatory policy design, due diligence, generation procurement and divestiture, and sustainability strategy.
Craig has built a practice that focuses on the economic evaluation of infrastructure, resources, and public policy options, supporting government and private sector decision-making processes.
As a trusted professional in a number of jurisdictions, Craig has had many opportunities to testify before regulatory commissions and the courts on topics ranging from affiliate relationships and corporate cost allocation, to the impacts of economic indicators on financial reporting practices and the environmental impacts of large generation and transmission projects.
