Terry Rodwancy is an Associate Director in the Healthcare practice. She has dedicated 30 years of her career to the healthcare field, providing her with a wealth of experience and skills to utilize with all clients. She specializes in acute and post-acute continuum of care strategies, program development, strategic planning, organizational and process design/redesign. Her broad experience includes working with acute and post-acute programs at health plans, primary care, inpatient care, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute care hospitals, home health, and outpatient settings.
Terry began her career working as a nurse on a medical surgical floor. She has also held the roles of Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Clinical Officer, and Director of Quality Management. Most recently, she specialized in post-acute care program development. She has experience in service recovery, compliance, regulations, medical staff credentialing, utilization management, case management, clinical documentation improvement, medical record review, supply chain, pharmacy utilization/operations, staffing, wound care, readmission analysis, operational process improvement strategies and plans. In addition, she has served on the National Infection Control Committee, Forms Standardization Committee, Magnet Steering Committee, and a National IS Implementation Committee.
During her career, Terry has worked throughout the acute and post-acute continuum for care delivery strategies. She has successfully helped new organizations achieve accreditation, provided education/ management of surveys, quality benchmark facilitation/tracking, investigations, and actively facilitated the development of strategic plans for acute and post-acute providers. She also has participated in implementation of EMR systems and has operational management expertise in multi-site operations.
