Eric Potter is a Director in the Financial Services Disputes group within Navigant’s Disputes and Investigations practice. For more than 16 years, Eric has specialized in advising law firms and other clients, on the financial, economic, accounting, and information management aspects of commercial disputes and litigation, especially matters involving the financial services industry.
Throughout his career, Eric has led numerous banking-related matters and has supported clients throughout the financial services industry in addressing complex commercial litigation and government investigations, most recently stemming from the credit crises. He has deep insight and extensive knowledge of the various mortgage markets and products, including residential and commercial loan originations, mortgage banking, securitizations, and servicing operations.
Eric also has significant experience in providing dispute resolution services through his work on matters involving breach of contract claims and allegations of fraud, among other assignments, as well as analyzing lost profits and other damages claims. He has assisted clients throughout the litigation process, including drafting expert reports and providing on-site support during depositions and trial.
