Bill Persefield is a Director in the Healthcare Real Estate practice. He has experience in planning, design, development, construction and delivery of high quality healthcare environments. Bill has been involved in all phases of the health facility development process, including needs analysis, space programming, planning, design, development, construction and project management. For his dedication to the design of hospitals and healthcare facilities, Bill was recognized in 2000 by the American Institute of Architects as a leading medical facility architect in the United States through his induction as a Founding Member of the American College of Healthcare Architects.
Bill's focus is on client service, and is skilled at helping the clients he serves achieve excellence in their building programs. He has successfully led the development of numerous new-concept, diagnostic and specialty care facilities, including surgical, cardiovascular and emergency care focused hospitals. He has specific expertise and interest in the conceptual planning and design of unique, efficient diagnostic and treatment facilities needed to accommodate new care delivery and operational models.
Bill has worked directly on many major health care facilities throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Central America, Asia and South America, and offers experience gained through direct involvement in many facilities and facility types. Through the integration of his knowledge and expertise, along with his experience in project planning and management from conceptualization to delivery, Bill successfully leads projects to their completion within budget and schedule parameters. The estimated construction value of the projects that have been guided by his direct involvement is in excess of $6 billion.
