Michael Navarro is an associate director in the Global Investigations & Compliance practice. He has extensive experience managing large-scale projects and has worked on high profile projects in both finance and project manager functions. Michael’s role includes overseeing projects and ensuring the success as outlined by the stakeholders, with an emphasis on risk, quality, and documentation. These principals are the key to ensuring a successful deliverable once the project is over.
Michael has used his extensive experience in corporate finance and operations to effectively manage client projects for large global financial institutions as well as regional institutions. These projects have covered a wide range of subjects, including investigations, risk assessments, remediation efforts, and transaction reviews.
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Michael has held senior positions relating to finance and operations, as well as project management and product manager positions. His focus is on project completion and success from end to end, specifically project staffing, finance, scope, risk, quality, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Prior to joining Navigant, Michael specialized in the day-to-day Operations for a top 500 Engineering firm. His responsibilities included P&L performance, utilization, staff oversight, and all facets of office policies. He also served in the role of financial manager where he focused on corporate and project finance with a strong emphasis on revenue and compliance. Michael’s vast expertise includes various functions in Engineering and Construction supervision.
Michael possesses extensive knowledge and familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley and workplace compliance, including corporate regulations. He is experienced with project and office audits and played a key role in the movement toward the implantation and execution of internal controls with great importance on policies and procedures.
