Peter is a Director in the Global Construction practice. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in dispute management and contract advice in the building, infrastructure and oil & gas industries including rail, building, power, offshore fabrications including rigs and FPSOs. Peter has extensive experience in the preparation, assessment and negotiation of claims for delay, extension of time, acceleration, prolongation costs, contentious variations and difficult final accounts. He has also been involved in several project terminations and the drafting and review of contract qualifications.
Peter also provides expert quantum opinion on the valuation of variations and assessment of damages, direct loss and/or expense arising from delay for formal dispute pleadings in arbitration and litigation. He has lived and worked in the Asia Pacific region for over 20 years. He holds a degree in Quantity Surveying, an MSc in Construction Law & Arbitration and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as well as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
