Amber Gosney serves as a associate director on GDPR implementation projects and is a key member of Navigant’s GDPR London team, drafting policies and procedures for multinational corporations to prepare them for GDPR compliance. She has also spoken on panels and at industry events related to leveraging technology for elements of GDPR compliance, including special emphasis on data breaches and data subject access requests. She regularly works with information security professionals at Navigant to implement privacy by design and privacy by default for organisations. She also provides training related to elements of the GDPR as well as best practices for employees.
Additionally, Amber has a background in and e-Discovery, managing complex, large scale, multi-language, cross boarder matters with a special focus on investigations related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. She is versed in dealing with multiple jurisdictions, regulators, and Tier 1 law firms globally. She is well versed in differences in approach to case strategy and the application of technology between jurisdictions and matter type. Representative matters include behavioral competition matters involving the DOJ, EC and JFTC, internal investigations, arbitrations and complex litigation both in the US, UK and continental Europe.
