Mr. Goodyear was appointed Executive Chairman of the Navigant Board in March 2012.
Prior to being named Executive Chairman Mr. Goodyear served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Navigant from May 2000 through February 2012 and has served as a member of the Board of Directors since December 1999. Prior to December 1999, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of America Illinois and was also President of Bank of America’s Global Private Bank. From 1972 to 1999, Mr. Goodyear held a variety of assignments with Continental Bank, subsequently Bank of America, where he gained experience in challenging environments that demand leadership and strategic direction in order to take advantage of current or potential marketplace opportunities. He was Vice Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of Continental Bank prior to its 1994 merger with BankAmerica Corporation, and following the merger, directed the integration of Continental Bank into Bank of America.
He is currently a trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the Museum of Science and Industry and a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Goodyear also serves on the Rush University Medical Center Board, where he is Vice Chairman and a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Finance Committee.
Mr. Goodyear received a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with Honors, from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with Honors, from the University of Notre Dame.
He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Goodyear was recognized by Consulting Magazine in 2004 as one of the "Top 25 Most Influential Consultants."
