Hassan Faghani is an associate director with Navigant's global disputes and economics practice. He is specialized in industrial organization, healthcare economics, econometrics, and statistics. He has assisted expert work in anti-trust, commercial disputes, and class action issues.
Dr. Faghani conducted economic analysis and estimated econometric models in several industries, including healthcare (quantified the anti competitive effect of a hospital merger in Chicago area), telecommunications (performed merger simulation in the AT&T-DirecTV), consumer products (estimated demand model in canned food products using scanner data), insurance (supported expert work in the Anthem-Cigna), retail (performed retrospective merger analysis in the Office Depot - Staples), and cement industry (estimated an auction model).
Dr. Faghani is an adjunct faculty at the department of economics in Georgetown University. He is teaching empirical industrial organization at the master program.
Before joining Navigant's global disputes and economics practice, Dr. Faghani was a senior economist at Compass Lexecon.
