Brian Eakin advises utilities to develop and operationalize their data analytics strategy, identify actionable insights, and prioritize opportunities for strategic improvement. This covers operational/enterprise/functional analytics strategy, organizational structure, performance metrics and management reporting, technology strategy, solution implementation, and analytical skills development.
Additionally, Brian leverages his statistical and econometric expertise to assist utilities in enhancing their Load Forecasting capabilities and to evaluate Smart Grid initiatives, Demand Response programs, Energy Efficiency programs, and Conservation Voltage Reduction programs. Brian has hands-on experience with a wide range of analytical techniques and has taught classes in quantitative methods (regression analysis, forecasting, statistical sampling methods, cohort analysis) using a range of analytical tools (SQL, SAS, R, Tableau, PostgreSQL, Teradata, Google BigQuery, Apache Hive, Google Analytics).
