David de Jager is an expert on the role of renewable energy in low-carbon emission pathways. His particular focus is on the interaction of policy instrument design, technology development and (costs of) financing. He has been intensively involved in various publications of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and has also worked for both multinational energy companies and environmental non-governmental organizations. One of his assignments was as Operating Agent for the IEA Technology Collaboration Program for Renewable Energy Technology Deployment.
