Scott Curtis is an associate director in the Global Investigations & Compliance practice. His role involves leading white collar investigations to include anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, fraud, embezzlement and other misconduct. Scott's investigative experience includes bank, securities and mortgage fraud as well as all public corruption related offenses.
Prior to Navigant, Scott worked as a Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for more than 22 years. At the FBI, Scott led teams of agents, prosecutors and other law enforcement partners in several high profile, long term, complex investigations that disrupted and dismantled sophisticated criminal enterprises operating in the greater New York City and Philadelphia metropolitan areas.
Scott has vast experience utilizing sophisticated techniques in investigating all aspects of financial crimes and public corruption related offenses. Some of Scott's accomplishments include the conviction of the mayors of two of Pennsylvania's largest cities as well as the conviction of over a dozen public officials and business executives involved in widespread corruption schemes; and an investigation that led to the convictions of dozens of cold callers, stock traders, compliance officers and stock promoters involved in the manipulation of over a dozen micro-cap stocks over a ten-year period.
