As Senior Vice President / Chief Executive Officer in Kaiser Permanente’s Northern California Region for more than four years, Dr. Campbell led two hospitals with 18 clinics serving over 1,200 square miles and 370 members in an integrated healthcare environment. One hospital achieved a ‘perfect’ Joint Commission Survey and was top ranked in patient satisfaction. Both hospitals achieved an A ranking with Leapfrog and other notable quality and service awards and rankings. As the Interim Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center and Eastern Maine Medical Center and Chief Executive Officer at the University of Arizona’s Hospital at the Kino Campus, Dr. Campbell successfully led rapid operational improvements by aligning key stakeholders and inspiring performance improvements that achieved rapid and sustainable results. Dr. Campbell has proven success in managing hospital operations, clinical effectiveness, quality, service, and financial performance across diverse organizations. She mentors leadership through the change process to facilitate sustainability. Dr. Campbell designs and oversees clinical and operational programs that adapt to current and future changes in optimizing care delivery. In partnership with her clients, she uses her strong program development and oversight skills to conduct operational assessments and strategic planning.
