Dean Briesemeister is a director in the Life Sciences strategy segment. He has more than 20 years of experience developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, operational efficiency, and high performance. His expertise spans a broad range of medical devices, from therapeutic implantables, to diagnostic and monitoring systems, and medical consumables.
Briesemeister came to Navigant through the acquisition of Dymedex Consulting, which specialized in working with medical device companies to identify their maximum market potential and develop strategies to capture that potential.
Prior to joining Dymedex, Briesemeister led global business development for Boston Scientific’s Peripheral Vascular Division. He also held leadership roles in upstream marketing and led a team that launched 10 products in 18 months. Dean also spent more than a decade advising clients on mergers & acquisitions, product development, and new product launch at McKinsey & Company, where he became a leader within the medical device practice.
