Marc Bartlett is an Associate Director in Navigant’s global Energy practice with 20 years’ experience in the electricity industry. He has a deep understanding of the issues facing energy companies and utilities, which includes almost 10 years working for a UK electrical distribution company as a member of its planning and its network innovation departments. Marc also has global experience with a focus on Europe and the Middle East.
Marc helps clients to develop strategies to prepare them for an increasingly disruptive future and supported client with delivery of projects focusing on the implementation of new technologies on electricity networks. He also advises network operators on matters of regulatory process, helps clients to win funding for projects and delivers market analysis, aligns businesses with markets, performs risk analysis, and develops strategic and tactical business plans.
Educated to PhD level, Marc studied electrical engineering at the University of Bath with a specialisation in Power System protection. Marc won two sponsorships whilst at university, from both a UK distribution company and a technology manufacturer. He is a Chartered Engineer and has recently completed a 6-week course at the UC Berkley School of Business on Technology, Innovation and Leadership for professionals working in the energy industry.
