Navigant announced today the expansion of its Global Legal Technology Solutions (GLTS) practice presence in Asia.
Navigant’s GLTS practice helps clients mitigate risk through data management solutions. Its clients include a spectrum of global organizations that contend with complex challenges associated with disputes, investigations, and broader regulatory concerns. Through the transfer of experienced Navigant staff to Hong Kong, the GLTS practice now offers full processing and hosting capabilities across the region to meet the growing digital demands of its clients.
“The addition of data management and technical capabilities in Asia is part of our strategy to leverage the platform we have built over the past several years in serving our clients’ economic expansion and regulatory challenges in the region,” stated David Tortorello, leader of Navigant’s Disputes, Forensics & Legal Technology segment. “Our Asia-based team is well placed to understand our clients’ objectives and execute the full range of services required for complex investigations in the market.”
“Navigant’s expanded presence in Asia will be a key benefit to our global clients, particularly in light of increasing cross-border regulatory investigations,” states Craig Freeman, Global Leader of Navigant’s GLTS practice. “It is important clients have the ability to review content locally due to strict data privacy rules and have access to a team that understands the local culture and local jurisdictions, and works in the clients’ own time zone.”
The Asia team will be led by Tanya Gross, a Director within the GLTS practice, who has fourteen years of experience directly leading and building teams to support investigations where data has been of critical importance. She has relocated from Navigant’s London office to Hong Kong to support the expansion.
