Navigant today announced that Julie Howard, chairman and CEO, has been recognized by CEO Connection as one of the 2017 Most Influential Women of the Mid-Market. This is the third consecutive year Howard has received the honor.
The organization recognizes the top 25 women in U.S. mid-market companies based on their ability to influence change, innovation, and standards for excellence in companies with annual sales between $100 million and $3 billion. Honorees are evaluated by annual revenue, number of employees, first impression on social media, and community involvement.
A results-oriented strategist with 30 years of professional services experience, Howard is responsible for the development and implementation of Navigant’s long-term strategy and effective prioritization of resource allocation to realize long-term shareholder value. She leads a network of more than 5,500 employees and more than 60 offices in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Howard served as Navigant’s chief operating officer in 2003, was appointed president in 2006, and CEO in 2012.
Howard serves on the board of directors for InnerWorkings, ManpowerGroup, and is a member of the Medical Center Board for Lurie Children’s Hospital. She is a champion of women's leadership development and is a founding member of the Women's Leadership and Mentoring Alliance.
Howard was named a “Woman of Achievement” in by the Anti-Defamation League and was recognized by Consulting magazine with the Lifetime Achievement Award for her professional services leadership and accomplishments.
