Ecofys, a Navigant company, helps businesses identify priorities for the circular economy from an environmental point of view
Businesses that implement the circular economy can improve their bottom lines, mitigate supply chain risks, and strengthen their competitive advantage. However, identifying circular strategies and viable business cases can be challenging.
A new report from Ecofys, a Navigant company, and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development aims to remove this difficulty by providing insight into the biggest circular economy opportunities for specific value chains. The report, Circular Economy and Environmental Priorities for Business, identifies eight global material flows and the respective carbon, water, and land footprints.
This report, which was launched at the World Circular Economy Forum in Helsinki, also focuses on priorities for the circular economy from the environmental point of view, providing an inventory of available circular economy measures that can be applied to mitigate the impacts.
