New Standard Construction Contracts Usher in Significant Changes

New simplified payment provisions, insurance amendments, and other updated provisions are welcome additions

The Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) produces standard forms of contract for construction, guidance notes, and other standard documentation for use in the UK construction industry. Every update to JCT brings in important changes, and the 2016 update was no different.
