Gas for Climate Seminar

The Gas for Climate consortium will host a seminar on the role of renewable and low-carbon gas in a decarbonized EU energy system. Gas for Climate is a consortium of gas infrastructure companies and renewable gas producers who are convinced that greenhouse gas emissions should be reduced to net zero by 2050.

The seminar keynote will be delivered by the European Commissioner for Energy and Climate Action, Miguel Arias Cañete.

Kees van der Leun, director at Navigant, will present expert insights on the potential for the production of renewable gas, including biomethane and renewable hydrogen, within the EU by 2050.
