Join Brian Harrell, director at Navigant, for Contemporary Crisis Management in Homeland Security, where he will present: Protecting the North American Power Grid: Mitigating Physical and Cybersecurity Attacks.
Contemporary Crisis Management in Homeland Security is geared toward students and practitioners in homeland security, emergency management, or related disciplines that can benefit from the exposure to contemporary crisis management knowledge, networking opportunities, and practical experience in complex crisis management. Penn State Homeland Security Program courses help you meet this need. Participants will explore current challenges in contemporary crisis management in homeland security, in an all-hazards perspective. After briefings on current topics from well-known homeland security experts and practitioners, participants will prepare in syndicate group work and present their syndicate projects. Short excursions to relevant agencies in the Harrisburg area provide additional value to the program.
