Join us to debate cyber security challenges for law firms
Whether it’s warnings about email phishing campaigns or media reports of cyber criminals targeting solicitors, law firms are increasingly in the cyber security spotlight. Moreover, the Panama Papers data breach at Mossack Fonseca is a reminder that cyber security at law firms cannot be taken for granted.
Navigant are hosting a cyber security breakfast briefing for Law Firms on Thursday 6th October at 1 Lombard Street.
Our Keynote speaker is Dr. Simon Moores, an expert on information security and cybercrime technology. Simon has written extensively about online espionage, hi–tech crime and information security issues and is co–author of 'A Digital Plan for Britain'.
Following Simon, we will be joined by a panel of experts to debate how law firms are addressing cyber threats and putting in procedures to detect and recover more quickly in the event of a breach:
Dyann Heward–Mills, Partner and Head of the Data Protection and Cyber Security Practice Group, Baker & McKenzie
Mark Deem, Partner at Cooley specialising in data protection and cyber–security issues.
Ben Donnachie, Associate Director of Information Security & Cyber, Navigant
