Cyber Fraud and How Internal Audit Can Help
Speaker: Steve Ramey
Based on the Global Risk Landscape 2014 published by the World Economic Forum, cyber-attacks are one of the risks with high impact as well as high likelihood. If you look at the disclosures of most publicly traded companies they have listed cyber fraud as a top risk. Internal Audit as the third line of defense must be as strong as management and compliance, which are the first two lines of defense. This session will explore current events and trends in cyber security and provide guidance on how internal audit can support the organization in mitigating this risk.
Third Party Risk and Managing the Risk
Speaker: Jay Perlman
Third party misbehavior has become the root cause of many frauds. This session will discuss ways internal audit can assist the business in monitoring these risks and provide guidance on how to best mitigate the risk of third party fraud.
