Brian Segobiano is an associate director in Chicago’s disputes and investigations practice. Brian works with clients on forensic accounting investigations and is often tapped by the other Navigant practices on engagements that require the management of large datasets and the ability to perform complex data analytics, modeling, and damage quantification.

It is great to have such diverse extra-curricular offerings at Navigant. You can get as involved as you want in everything from social events to professional development to networking activities.

A Day In The Life

Brian’s work focuses on forensic data analysis utilizing his analytical thinking and knowledge of Navigant’s proprietary tools. As a managing consultant, Brian is the liaison between senior level management and the consultant level professionals. When recently assigned an asset-backed securities litigation discovery project involving millions of pages of documents, Brian assigned his team responsibilities to effectively keep track of various data sets and documents being processed.

Brian often works directly with the client to understand the scope of litigation and ensure that Navigant processes all required pieces of information. Clients and Navigant senior management rely on Brian and his colleagues to perform ad hoc reporting and analyses that help visualize progress and quantify the impact of various issues.

Rewards and Recognition

Brian is a member of Navigant’s Consultant Advisory Council, an internal committee of professionals that works with senior leadership to enhance internal policies and increase employee engagement across the firm. He was nominated for the position due to his hard work, dedication, and seamless communication across multiple levels within the organization and across practices. In addition, the last two engagements he worked on were awarded with the Client Services Hall of Fame achievement.
