CASE STUDY:

Foreclosure & Bankruptcy Process Assessment
Navigant was retained to assess several servicers’ foreclosure and bankruptcy processes.   Our team performed independent risk assessments of each process, determining compliance with legal, investor and MI guidelines.  The reviews utilized Navigant’s proprietary foreclosure and bankruptcy rules database which compiles the various federal and local rules, fees and letters related to default processing.  Our final deliverable identified regulatory and operational gaps and areas for improvement.  The company is using this information to re-design its processes to meet regulatory expectations, improve efficiencies and reduce the economic exposure related to litigation and compensatory fees.
