Telecom Breach
In a breach-of-license case involving mobile phone software, a telecom company required an analysis of the damages it was owed. Absorbing data sourced from 20 countries, Navigant analyzed millions of pages of documents—many of them in foreign languages—to determine unpaid royalties due. In the end, the company received a settlement amount very close to the figure calculated by our team.

Expert Witness in High Court Litigation
Navigant was appointed to provide expert witness services in a UK High Court litigation where the initial breach of contract claim exceeded £700 million. The dispute related to the implementation of an IT system for a UK listed company. Navigant played a key role over two and a half years, and our work included vali¬dating the costs of the actual IT system, calculating the hypothetical cost of the system, and quantifying the lost business benefits under a number of “but-for” scenarios.
