This presentation will describe the Energy Storage Computational Tool (ESCT) which is a free and publically available tool that Navigant developed through the Department of Energy for the Smart Grid Demonstration program. This Excel based tool helps the user identify, quantify, and monetize the benefits of their operational energy storage project. The ESCT can also be used as a planning tool to estimate the value of a hypothetical project. The net present value is presented over the lifetime of the project with the option to conduct sensitivity analyses.

In October of this year, Health Benefit Marketplaces (previously known as Exchanges) will begin enrolling eligible individuals and employees of small businesses. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires that each state offer consumers affordable health coverage through a Health Benefit Marketplace (Marketplace). Seventeen states, as well as the District of Columbia, will operate a State Based Marketplace (SBM), seven states will operate a State Partnership Marketplace (SPM), and 26 states will use the Federally- Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) operated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
