Kevin is a Managing Director with Navigant's Healthcare practice, and has approximately 20 years of healthcare management and strategic consulting experience. During his consulting career, Kevin has provided consulting assistance to more than 100 health systems, hospitals, medical groups, and academic institutions. Kevin’s primary focus has been his work to create and enhance physician-hospital relationships and alliances so that they are better able to succeed in increasingly competitive markets.
He has a successful track record of designing and implementing strategies that improve the performance, governance, teamwork, compensation alignment, and outcomes of physician groups and healthcare systems. Kevin has also been responsible for the design and implementation of physician and provider compensation plans for a wide variety of academic institutions, single-specialty practices, and large complex physician organizations. He has effectively assisted clients with all facets of compensation redesign projects, including the alignment of incentives between the providers, compensation for physician leadership and medical directorships, specialty-specific funding strategies, enhancement of clinical productivity, and compensation for call coverage relationships. In addition, he has significant experience in benchmarking and assessing the market value of professional service agreements between hospitals and physician organizations.
