As a Director in Navigant Capital Markets Advisers, Mr. Watson Brown provides advice and support to hedge funds, collective investment schemes, listed companies and proprietary trading institutions in the fields of valuation, regulation, risk and taxation. His clients include banks, hedge funds and asset managers.
Hugo has 20 years of experience of advising and working for institutions that conduct proprietary trading or provide investment management services. He has been extensively involved with structuring collective investment schemes, documenting investment management contracts, designing trading strategies, compliance and regulation, securities settlement, compensation arrangements, risk management procedures, taxation issues and the management of financial trading organisations.
Prior to working as a con! sultant, Hugo was Global Head of Trading at an investment bank. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
