Cristine Vogel is an Associate Director in Navigant’s Healthcare practice and has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has comprehensive knowledge of healthcare system planning, public policy and healthcare reform.
Ms. Vogel has previously worked for the State of Connecticut as the Special Advisor to the Governor for Health Care Reform and was responsible for the planning and implementation of federal initiatives. She led the Exchange planning grant efforts including working with other states to identify opportunities to a regional approach of certain Exchange functions that would reduce duplication and improve cost‐effectiveness. She focused on stakeholder feedback and the impact of reform on the State and its residents when she Chaired the Governor’s Health Care Reform Cabinet. Ms. Vogel also served as the Commissioner for the State’s Office of Health Care Access and oversaw the health care system planning, monitored hospital financial status and researched issues of access to health care.
Prior to state government, Ms. Vogel focused on planning, marketing and market research in the hospital and health insurance areas.
