K. Scott Van Meter, a managing director in Navigant's Houston office, has 25 years of diverse professional experience in accounting, law, management, forensic and investigative accounting, and litigation consulting. Mr. Van Meter has led forensic accounting investigations, managed consulting engagements and testified as an expert witness in complex commercial litigation cases such as accounting/auditing malpractice and economic damages and in bankruptcy matters, including avoidance actions, valuation, solvency, and claims litigation. In addition, Mr. Van Meter has substantial experience consulting with clients on antitrust damages, accounting malpractice, director and officer malfeasance, and economic damage issues.
