Scott Solomon is a Director in the Disputes and Investigations practice where he provides independent advisory, forensic accounting and other investigative services to boards, independent trustees, corporate management, internal counsel and external counsel. He has quantified damages as an accounting expert in commercial litigation matters and served as a financial adviser and consultant to receiverships and their counsel. Mr. Solomon also has considerable experience serving as an independent adviser for corporations on a wide range of matters including accounting investigations, third party due diligence, technical accounting matters, business intelligence, fraud investigations, employee misconduct issues and other employment issues.
Mr. Solomon has appeared before members of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Reserve Bank, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and Department of Justice on several occasions to present findings from investigations.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists and the Illinois CPA Society.
