As an Associate Director in Navigant's Healthcare Revenue Cycle segment, Mike Snyder has significant experience in assisting clients increase their net revenue, and implementing safeguards to meet any regulatory, compliance and reimbursement issues.
During his career Mike has worked with providers of all sizes and classifications, in addition to over fifteen years working for hospitals and healthcare systems. He has successfully increased net revenue for large hospital systems and small critical access hospitals. Mike recently implemented new policies and procedures at a major teaching integrated system resulting in significant net revenue increases. He has considerable compliance experience having recently successfully defended a major teaching hospital during an OIG review.
Mr. Snyder also has significant experience working with hospital Patient Accounting, Medical Records and Reimbursement departments. This experience resulted in a substantial increase in net revenue by identifying coding and billing changes in an effort to reduce non-covered charges. He also has substantial experience working with the Medicare and Medicaid payors.
