Ken Seiden is a Director in the Energy Practice in Navigant’s Boulder, Colorado office. Dr. Seiden brings 25 years of strategic planning and quantitative analytics expertise for utilities to Navigant, specializing in energy efficiency and demand response planning, evaluation, and cost-effectiveness analysis; energy, peak, and end-use forecasting; and market planning, segmentation, and pricing.
Dr. Seiden employs an active, hands-on approach with his project teams, and particularly enjoys assignments where deliverables include the transfer of analytical capabilities and modeling tools developed over the course of the effort. This approach has been particularly appropriate and fruitful in the context of the Smart Grid, where Dr. Seiden has led pioneering efforts to combine dynamic pricing evaluation with the deployment of utility-based analytics infrastructure capable of moving beyond the pilot stage to full-scale Smart Grid implementation.
