Ian is Managing Director of Navigant’s Public Services team and has over 15 years experience in project & corporate finance, with specific expertise on the UK's private finance initiative (PFI) and on public private partnerships (PPP). This experience spans the education, housing, transport and regeneration sectors. Ian has advised clients, from both the public and private sector, on over 30 project finance transactions with a combined capital value in excess of £2.5 billion.
Prior to Navigant, Ian was co-founder and chief executive of ABROS. ABROS was a specialist financial advisory team providing leading edge, strategic & financial advice on local government PFI/PPP. ABROS traded profitably for 10 years before its acquisition by Navigant in January 2007.
Ian advises a number of project boards and is regularly consulted by government on evolving policy and strategy, and by the private sector on strategy and product development.
