Mr. Richmond is a Managing Director in the Chicago office and serves as the Central Region Practice Leader for the firm’s Disputes & Investigations Practice. He has utilized his analytical and financial skills to address forensic accounting, valuation, and business economics issues in a wide variety of consulting engagements. He has extensive experience in conducting forensic investigations and quantifying damages in commercial litigation and has assisted clients and their counsel in both consulting expert and expert witness roles. His clients have included public and private companies in the following industries: professional services, manufacturing, banking, real estate, health care, energy, insurance, entertainment and technology.

In the area of disputes, Mr. Richmond has provided expert testimony in the areas of economic damages, valuation, financial condition of the parties, and causation. He has significant experience with matters related to professional malpractice, breach of contract, fraud, anti-trust, intellectual property and post acquisition disputes.

Mr. Richmond has worked on behalf of audit committees, special committees and management in forensic investigations of alleged financial reporting fraud, misappropriations, and corporate misconduct.

Mr. Richmond is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Mr. Richmond is a recurring guest lecturer at the University of Illinois College of Commerce and frequently teaches CLE and CPE training courses. He is a member of the Forensic & Litigation Services Committee of the AICPA.

Mr. Richmond's civic responsibilities include serving as Chair of the Finance/Audit Committee for Countryside Association for People with Disabilities and as a member of the Board of CARPLS (Coordinated Advice & Referral Program for Legal Services).
