Edward Osterwald is a Managing Director in Navigant’s London office and serves clients in the oil and gas, petrochemical and utility sectors. He has helped both state and privately owned companies deal with the complexities of privatisation, market liberalisation and restructuring.
His expertise has significant benefit to clients worldwide and he has built long-standing relationships with companies across Europe, especially in Central Europe and the former Soviet Union. An area of particular interest is supply and trading in the region.
Although he has focused on using sophisticated economic and financial analysis to solve business problems in the oil industry, Mr. Osterwald has also led engagements involving organisational re-engineering, IT system selection, and customer relationship management.
He began his career at Mobil Corporation’s head office in New York, where most of his time was devoted to supply, trading, and refinery operations. Thereafter, he became a Partner with Arthur Andersen, where he was charge of oil and gas in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa.
