Mr. McNew is a Managing Director and licensed Private Investigator with more than 24 years of experience in e-Discovery and information lifecycle management. Mr. McNew’s areas of specialty include data collection, computer forensics, e-Discovery, software selection and implementation and strategic consulting in support of all phases of litigation, investigations and litigation readiness.

Mr. McNew served as President and founder to several information management firms where he was responsible for fiscal, operational and strategic initiatives. He also served as a Managing Director in the Legal Consulting practice for an international consulting firm, responsible for leading discovery services within San Francisco and Houston markets. Earlier in his career, Mr. McNew worked as a Senior Manager for a “Big Six” international accounting firm where he was recruited to help build the Houston and Cincinnati Technology Centers.

He has written numerous articles and has spoken on numerous occasions over the years. He has been a featured writer and speaker on topics such as e-Discovery, litigation readiness, ESI workflow, data collection, technology, social media, and alternative fee arrangements.

Mr. McNew is also credited with authoring a patent on enterprise search and data collection software.
