Mr. McGrath is a Managing Director leading Navigant’s Insurance Coverage Consulting and Product Liability team and serving as the Office Managing Director for the three Chicago area offices. For more than 24 years, he has supported clients facing significant challenges with product liabilities, mass tort, environmental pollution, and labor related class actions. He specifically provides world class data analytics, damage allocation modeling, future liability forecasting / predictive modeling, and claims management services to companies facing complex and/or high volume liability claims.
Mr. McGrath utilizes specialized technology tools and methods to estimate liabilities, distribute potential liability among various parties, allocate claims to historic insurance policies, quantify or rebut damages, evaluate risk mitigation strategies, and support settlement negotiations in the following types of matters: Asbestos Bodily Injury; Environmental Pollution; Labor Compensation Disputes and Class Actions; Construction Defect/Mold; Pharmaceutical Product Liability; Product Recall; Railroad FELA claims; and Chemical Exposures.
Mr. McGrath has prepared numerous expert damage reports and provided expert testimony in both state and federal courts. He is a frequent speaker with organizations such as the American Bar Association and HB Litigation.
