Mr. Higgins is a Director in the Energy practice where he specializes in energy industry restructuring issues and the analysis of competitive energy markets. He has an extensive background in the areas of resource planning, energy procurement, market design issues, and performing generation and transmission asset due diligence and feasibility studies. He has also been involved in numerous energy procurement processes, where he has either managed the process or served as an independent third-party evaluator to the process.
Previously, Mr. Higgins worked with a small consultancy that focused on the valuation of generation assets for utilities, developers, private equity, and financial institutions.
