As a Director in the Healthcare practice, Jim Fojut manages the installation of electronic practice management and medical records systems into hospitals and physician practices. He has over 40 years of health care experience covering a wide range of governance, strategic, operating and financial aspects of hospitals, physician practices and joint ventures.
Mr. Fojut specializes in project oversight and change management. Over the past six years, he has been managing the EMR installation process for Independent Practice Associations (IPAs) and medical groups. This includes a responsibility for developing business plans, overseeing vendor selection and negotiations, installing hardware, customizing software and interfaces and connectivity, user training and support and building the ongoing infrastructure for the client.
Prior to this, he led the development, restructuring and/or consolidation of IPAs, Health Maintenance Organizations and hospital-physician joint ventures. This has included preparing strategic business plans, designing and implementing restructures and turn-around efforts, staffing.
