Kevin Cooney, a Managing Director in the Energy practice, is a registered professional engineer, and has analyzed energy technologies and markets for over 20 years and has extensive experience in energy efficiency program design and evaluation, market assessment, and technology evaluation.
Mr. Cooney is the former CEO for Summit Blue. Prior positions include serving as the Vice President at E-Source responsible for the firm's multi-client technology and market research projects, as a Manager at Hagler Bailly where he led multi-year, multi-program evaluation efforts for utilities, and as a research engineer for Johnson Controls, developing knowledge management tools for their branch operations and serving on ASHRAE technical committees.
