James J. Agnew, FACHE, is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Practice. He brings more than 20 years of executive leadership including a unique blend of hospital operations, financial and corporate development expertise that has been tested in both the not-for-profit and investor-owned segments of the healthcare industry.
He has led the negotiations for acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and reconfigurations that have contributed to the outstanding performance of such organizations as HCA, The Bon Secours Health System and VHA, Inc. As a senior executive with multi-hospital systems, Mr. Agnew has been instrumental in establishing new clinical service lines, resulting in enhanced revenue and expense control management. In addition, he has driven development and implementation of innovative delivery mechanisms to improve both clinical and economic performance across the entire delivery continuum.
