The potential for sequestration to occur is real and will impose devastating effects on government contractors. Sequestration will automatically remove more than $1.2 trillion dollars from agencies’ budgets over the next ten years in an across-the-board manner. These annual cuts in mission funds will disrupt priority and non-priority programs alike.
